TERMS OF USE AND DATA PROTECTION FOR CANDIDATES

YOUR PRIVACY COMES FIRST
We never sell or disclose registration data to third parties for advertising or purposes unrelated to the job board. Registering does not authorise advertisers to use your data and does not mean that you agree to receive advertising.
This commitment does not exclude necessary access by technical service providers, disclosures required by law, or companies accessing your application data or profile exclusively when you have applied for a vacancy, in accordance with the service features and your privacy settings. These situations are explained below.

1. DATA CONTROLLER AND CONTACT
The owner of Ingenieros.es and data controller is PLATAFORMA DE INGENIERIA Y DESARROLLOS TECNOLÓGICOS SL, tax identification number B-71011826, with its registered office at c/Manuel Martinez de Ubago, 28 (31.012) Pamplona (Spain). Registered in the Commercial Register of Navarra on 22 March 2010, volume 1506, page 22, registry sheet NA-29922, first entry.
For questions about your account, privacy or exercising your rights, contact info@ingenieros.es. The owner's identification details and full address can be consulted in the website's Legal Notice.
Processing is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and, for electronic services and communications, Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE).

2. SERVICE AND REGISTRATION
The job board allows you to create and manage a professional profile, view vacancies and submit applications using the available features. Candidate registration is free and intended for people over 18. It does not guarantee employment or any particular outcome in selection processes.
Fields marked with an asterisk are required to process registration. If you do not provide them, we cannot complete registration; other fields are optional. You must provide truthful information, keep it up to date and confirm your email address through the activation link.
Your password is personal and must not be shared. Report any suspected unauthorised access. This obligation does not exclude Ingenieros.es's security responsibilities.

3. DATA, PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES
We process the identification and contact details you provide, your login details and, when you add them, your professional information, education, experience, CV and applications. Technical data necessary to protect and provide the service, such as IP addresses and access logs, may also be processed.
Processing registration, verifying your email address, administering your account, maintaining your profile and handling applications you request are based on performance of the service relationship and steps requested before it is established (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Preventing abusive access and fraud and protecting systems are based on the legitimate interest in maintaining a secure service (Article 6(1)(f)), subject to balancing your rights and limiting data to what is necessary.
Processing required by law is based on compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
Promotional communications and optional features requiring consent will be based on specific, separate and revocable authorisation (Article 6(1)(a)). Accepting these terms does not replace that authorisation.
Do not include identity documents or information about health, ideology, religion, trade union membership or other specially protected data in your CV if they are unnecessary for the application.

4. COMPANY ACCESS AND OTHER RECIPIENTS
Data are not sold or provided to advertisers for their campaigns or databases. We do not authorise their use for purposes unrelated to the service.
When you apply for a vacancy, the company responsible may consult the personal and professional data that the service makes available to manage your application. If you use profile visibility features, companies may access visible information according to the applicable privacy setting. Review that setting before adding data or submitting an application.
Registration alone does not constitute general consent to any disclosure of data. Access to profiles and applications must be limited to the stated recruitment purpose and the applicable legal basis. The receiving company is responsible for its own processing and must inform you about it; these terms do not authorise it to send advertising or reuse your data for incompatible purposes.
Changing profile visibility does not automatically erase data a company has received when handling an application. You can also exercise your rights against that company.
Hosting, email, maintenance and security providers may access data necessary to provide their services. When acting on behalf of Ingenieros.es, they must do so under a data processing agreement, confidentially and following instructions, without using the data for their own purposes.
Strictly necessary data may also be disclosed to authorities or other recipients where there is a legal obligation.
The form incorporates Google reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse. This component involves Google processing technical data according to the configuration and terms applicable to the service; it must not be confused with disclosure of your CV to advertisers. If a provider involves transfers of data outside the European Economic Area, information must be provided about the destinations and applicable safeguards under Chapter V GDPR. You can request information about recipients and safeguards at info@ingenieros.es.

5. RETENTION AND ACCOUNT CLOSURE
Your account and profile data will be retained while you keep the service active and they are necessary for its purposes. You can request account closure and erasure at info@ingenieros.es.
After closure, data that must be retained to comply with legal obligations or address potential liabilities will be blocked, where applicable, for the relevant limitation periods; they will then be erased. Backups must be subject to deletion cycles and restricted access.
Technical logs will be retained only for the time necessary for security and investigating incidents. Data retention will not be used to justify sending you advertising without a valid legal basis.

6. YOUR RIGHTS
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability where applicable, by writing to info@ingenieros.es and stating the right you wish to exercise. Additional identification information will only be requested where necessary to reasonably verify your identity.
If processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of previous processing. Withdrawing consent for promotions does not prevent you from using the job board.
As a general rule, requests will be answered within one month; any extensions will be communicated in accordance with the GDPR. You can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Registration alone is not treated as authorisation to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similar effects. If features of that nature are implemented, the required information and safeguards will be provided beforehand.

7. EMAILS AND COOKIES
We may send messages necessary to activate and protect your account, recover access and manage services you request. Optional job alerts must correspond to your request or settings.
Registration does not subscribe you to newsletters or mean that you accept promotions. Commercial communications will require a legal basis permitted by the LSSI-CE and a simple, free mechanism to object or unsubscribe.
Accepting registration terms does not mean accepting non-essential cookies. These require the appropriate information and consent mechanism. Technical cookies essential to the service will be processed in accordance with applicable law.

8. RESPONSIBLE USE AND SECURITY
Do not publish unlawful, discriminatory or false content, or content that infringes others' rights. Do not extract profiles in bulk, impersonate anyone, attempt to bypass access controls or overload the service.
Ingenieros.es may restrict abusive access or remove content contrary to these terms, proportionately and without excluding legally recognised rights. It will adopt technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk; absolute security or uninterrupted availability is not promised.
You retain your rights to your CV and the content you provide. You authorise its processing and use only to the extent necessary to provide the requested features, without granting a licence to exploit it for unrelated purposes.

9. CHANGES, LIABILITY AND APPLICABLE LAW
Substantial changes to these terms will be communicated with reasonable advance notice when they affect the service relationship. Continued use of the website will not be interpreted as acceptance of a new processing purpose requiring consent.
Technical incidents or external links do not exclude any liability legally attributable to Ingenieros.es. No clause limits the candidate's non-waivable rights.
Spanish and European Union law apply. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts under the applicable legal rules, without requiring the user to waive their legally applicable jurisdiction.
