Legal notice, privacy and cookies
Information about the portal operator, terms of use and processing of personal data.
1. Operator and contact
Ingenieros.es is operated by PLATAFORMA DE INGENIERIA Y DESARROLLOS TECNOLÓGICOS SL, tax identification number B-71011826. Registered address: c/Manuel Martinez de Ubago, 28, 31012 Pamplona (Spain). Navarra Commercial Register: 22 March 2010, volume 1506, page 22, entry NA-29922, first registration. Contact: info@ingenieros.es. Support: support@ingenieros.es.
2. Using the portal
The portal provides engineering information and services, news, events, publications, catalogues, companies, training and jobs. Use it lawfully and respectfully. Unauthorised access, attacks, bulk messages, impersonation and harvesting personal data are prohibited. Services requiring registration have specific terms; paid services must disclose prices and terms in advance. Browsing does not constitute consent to advertising or optional processing.
3. Publications and intellectual property
Anyone submitting content must hold the necessary rights or permissions and respect the privacy of the people concerned. Rights remain with their respective owners. Attribution alone does not authorise reproducing third-party material: permission or a legal exception is required. No general licence is granted over all portal content. Report suspected infringements to info@ingenieros.es, identifying the content, its location and the reason.
4. Links, advertising and liability
Links and advertisements may lead to third-party services governed by their own terms. Advertising must be identifiable. We aim to maintain accurate information and address reports of errors or unlawful content, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of all external content. This information does not replace professional advice. No clause excludes liability imposed by law or mandatory user and consumer rights.
5. Personal data and sources
The operator identified above is the controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). We process information you provide through forms, accounts, subscriptions, applications or publications: identity, contact and professional details and submitted content, depending on the service. Technical access logs, IP addresses and incident data may also be processed to provide and protect the service. Recommendation data comes from the sender. Mandatory fields are identified on each form; without them we may be unable to handle your request. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information or third-party data without a legal basis.
6. Purposes and legal bases
Enquiries and requests: steps prior to a contract or performance of the requested service (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), or consent where appropriate (6(1)(a)). Accounts, job offers, applications and publications: performance of the requested service. Newsletters and promotional messages: specific consent, unless an applicable legal exception under the Spanish LSSI exists. Professional contacts: legitimate interests within Article 19 LOPDGDD. Security and prevention of abuse: legitimate interests, subject to a balancing assessment and proportionate measures (6(1)(f)). Legal obligations: Article 6(1)(c). General acceptance does not authorise every purpose; additional purposes require information and a valid legal basis.
7. Jobs and visibility
Information you ask us to publish may be visible online and in search engines. In the jobs service, applications and CVs may be available to recipient companies in accordance with the requested service and the visibility options explained and enabled. Companies receiving data for recruitment are controllers of their own processing and must restrict it to lawful recruitment purposes. Review the specific terms and avoid unnecessary personal information in public content.
8. Recipients and international transfers
We never sell or disclose your registration data to third parties for advertising or purposes unrelated to the requested service. This does not prevent necessary disclosures to service recipients, legal obligations or access by providers acting for the controller under appropriate safeguards. IONOS provides hosting; email, maintenance and security providers may also be involved. Forms integrate Google reCAPTCHA, which may process technical data under its policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Transfers outside the European Economic Area require verification and safeguards under GDPR Articles 44 onwards, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, as applicable. Request information about providers and applicable safeguards from info@ingenieros.es.
9. Retention
Data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service, manage the relationship and resolve incidents. Subscriptions remain active until they end or consent is withdrawn. CVs, applications, accounts and publications are reviewed according to their purpose and currency; indefinite retention is not the default. Once the purpose ends, data is erased or, where required, blocked during statutory liability periods before deletion. Records subject to commercial, tax or other legal obligations are retained for the required periods.
10. Rights and complaints
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable, and withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Write to info@ingenieros.es stating your request and the details needed to locate it. Additional identity information is requested only when necessary; do not send unnecessary sensitive documents. We normally respond within one month; a legally permitted extension must be explained and communicated. You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency: https://www.aepd.es. Erasing data necessary for a service may prevent its continuation. We do not make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects in the services described.
11. Messages and recommendations
Verification, access recovery and requested notifications relate to the relevant service. Registration does not subscribe you to advertising. Newsletters and commercial messages must offer simple, free withdrawal through the included mechanism or info@ingenieros.es. Before recommending content to someone, obtain their authorisation; your declaration does not replace their consent. The recommendation must inform the recipient about the source and processing of their data under GDPR Article 14. If you receive an unsolicited message, contact support@ingenieros.es without sending passwords or access links.
12. Cookies and external services
Strictly necessary technical cookies may provide requested functions, such as maintaining a session. Analytics, advertising and other non-exempt cookies or technologies require prior information and consent before activation, unless a verified legal exemption applies. Continuing to browse is not consent. Rejecting unnecessary options and withdrawing or changing consent must be easy. Portal code includes Google services, including analytics and reCAPTCHA; their configuration, data, providers and possible transfers need review. See https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies and manage storage through your browser. This general information does not replace an inventory of the cookies actually used, including name, provider, purpose and duration, or the required consent mechanism.
13. Security and children
We apply technical and organisational measures proportionate to risk; no system guarantees absolute security. Keep credentials confidential and report suspicious access to support@ingenieros.es. Professional and recruitment services are intended for people with capacity to use them; children need the relevant involvement or authorisation. In Spain, processing based on consent of a child under 14 requires consent from the holder of parental responsibility or guardianship. Do not publish children's data without justification and appropriate safeguards.
14. Updates and applicable law
We may update this notice to reflect legal or service changes. Significant processing changes will be communicated where required, and fresh consent requested where necessary. Relevant Spanish and European law applies, respecting mandatory rules and legally protected jurisdiction rights. Translations aid understanding and do not diminish user rights.
